Who these terms come from

These terms govern the use of this website, operated by PRI & PRI KITA gemeinnützige GmbH, Vagedesstraße 19, 40479 Düsseldorf, Germany, registered under HRB 82607. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

The company is a nonprofit organisation that manages and staffs day-care centres for children in Düsseldorf. This website is informational: it explains who we are, how our centres are run, and how families reach the right office. It is not a place to enrol a child, and it does not replace anything you receive in writing from a Kita or from the city.

Scope

These terms apply to all use of this website and its content. They do not govern the contractual relationship between a Kita and a family, which is subject to separate agreements and to the applicable rules of the city of Düsseldorf and the Jugendamt.

That distinction matters in practice. A place in one of our centres is granted through the city's allocation process and confirmed in a written contract between the Kita and the legal guardians. Nothing published on this website creates, changes or ends such a contract, and no page here should be read as a commitment to provide a place, a specific opening time, or a specific fee.

Where the two ever disagree, the documents you receive directly from the Kita or from the responsible authority apply. If you are unsure which document governs your situation, ask the Kita management first; the office contact above can point you to the right person.

In short: this site explains our work. Enrolment, fees and care agreements are handled outside it, in writing, with the Kita and the city.

Website content

The content on this site is provided for general information about PRI & PRI KITA and its services. We aim to keep it accurate and current, but we do not warrant that every page is complete or free of error at all times. Information about enrolment, fees and opening hours is indicative and may change; the applicable rules are those communicated by the responsible Kita or authority.

What the site is for

Orientation. Descriptions of our centres, our management and care work, and the routes families take to ask a question or arrange a visit.

What can change

Opening hours, group sizes, fee arrangements and the status of a waiting list are set by the centre and the city, and may be revised during a year.

What counts

Where a figure matters to a decision, the version that counts is the one you receive in writing from the Kita or the responsible authority, not the version on this website.

We correct pages when we notice a mistake, and we are glad when a reader tells us about one. Send a short note with the page and what you saw to [email protected]. Corrections are made in the next update of the page, not instantly.

Use of the site

You may use this website for lawful purposes only. The points below set out what that means here.

Reading a page twice is fine. Scraping it a thousand times is not.

    Images of children, staff or families are not published on this site. Please do not send us photographs of other people's children, and do not take photographs inside a centre without asking the management first.

    Use the office email and phone number for general questions. Do not send health information about a child by email; discuss that with the Kita directly, where it can be handled confidentially.

We are not liable for indirect damage or lost profits arising from the use of this website, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law. Nothing in these terms limits liability that is mandatory under applicable law.

This covers the website only. The care and supervision of children at a centre is governed by the agreement between the Kita and the legal guardians, together with the applicable statutory rules. Please raise anything about day-to-day care directly with the Kita management, not through this website.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms if the website, its content or the applicable legal requirements change. The version published on this page at the time of your visit applies. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Updates are made on this page, so the wording you are reading is always the current one. We do not send individual notices about a change to these terms. Where a change concerns how we handle personal data, the Privacy Policy is updated as well.
